Exactly like you said, we don’t need a woman to validate whether we are on the right path or not. Our best indicator for that is by having our own standards.

Many of us have an expectation that we need to have the perfect relationship with the perfect girlfriend when V-Day comes along, then because our expectations don’t match our standards, we become depressed.
